Hezbollah chief: Israel attacked Iran with no reason

The Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement, Sheikh Naim Qassem, says the Israeli regime launched strikes against the Islamic Republic without any reason.
Israel occupied 600 square kilometers of Syria, and there were no pretexts, Al-Mayadeen quoted Qassem early on Sunday as saying.
"It destroyed all capabilities, and there were no pretexts. It attacked Iran—and there were no pretexts."
The Hezbollah chief said that "no one is giving Israel pretexts" to carry out strikes, noting that the group will not remain silent for eternity.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that the ceasefire agreement that ended the war on Lebanon marked a new phase, which is the phase of "state responsibility".
Hezbollah has fully implemented the agreement, Qassem said.
Responding to calls for Hezbollah to surrender its weapons, he raised the question, "Is there anyone who has a mind and thinks properly who would eliminate his own sources of strength while the Israeli does not implement the agreement and continues its aggressions?"
