Enemies cannot force Iranian nation into submission: I.R.G.C. adviser

Shahr-e Rey, IRNA -- A senior adviser to the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (I.R.G.C.) says Iran's enemies will never succeed in bringing the nation to its knees, emphasizing national resilience and the unwavering pursuit of the goals of the Islamic Revolution.
"Enemies will take the illusion of subduing the Iranian nation to their graves," said Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, former defense minister and current adviser to the IRGC commander-in-chief.
He made the remarks on Sunday during the funeral ceremony of Lieutenant General Hossein Salami, the former I.R.G.C. commander-in-chief, who was assassinated in a recent Israeli airstrike.
Vahidi told reporters, "Iran—strong, honorable, and powerful—will continue along the glorious path of the Islamic Revolution."
He added that the assassination of Salami and other senior commanders "will not weaken the nation's resolve, but will instead strengthen our determination to pursue the revolution's path and defend Islamic ideals."
