OIC Expresses Concern Over Targeting of Iranian Nuclear Facilities

Jeddah, June 22, 2025, SPA -- The Secretariat General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed deep concern over recent developments involving the targeting of nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing the incident as a dangerous escalation that could further heighten tensions and threaten peace, security, and stability in the region.
The OIC reaffirmed its condemnation of the violation of Iran's sovereignty and international laws and charters. It called for restraint, avoidance of escalation, and a renewed commitment to dialogue and diplomatic engagement. The organization urged all parties to prioritize peaceful solutions and resume negotiations to prevent further deterioration of the regional situation.
