Foreign Minister Araqchi says Trump's letter contained both threat and calls for diplomacy

Tehran, IRNA -- Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi says Iran has reviewed the letter received from U.S. President Donald Trump, which he says contained both threatening language and calls for diplomacy.
"Of course, this letter attempts to open a window for diplomacy, " Araqchi told reporters on the sidelines of International Quds Day rally in Tehran on Friday.
"We carefully examined this letter, discussed its various aspects, and relayed the response to it appropriately to the American side," he said.
