Iran defense chief in UAE to boost military ties, regional interaction

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh has traveled to the United Arab Emirates to boost military ties and regional engagement.
Heading a high-ranking delegation, Nasirzadeh arrived in Dubai on Monday at the invitation of his Emirati counterpart.
The Iranian defense chief plans to hold talks with the UAE officials and attend the Dubai Airshow 2025, which is scheduled to be held on November 17-21.
The visit takes place within the framework of Iran's defense diplomacy and aims to enhance regional interactions and explore opportunities for cooperation in various fields.
During his tour of the exhibition, Nasirzadeh is also scheduled to hold meetings with defense officials from several countries.
The Dubai Airshow 2025 hosts more than 1,500 exhibitors, including 440 new exhibitors, 148,000 trade visitors, and 490 military and civil delegations from 115 countries.
Over 200 aircraft, including commercial, military, private jets, UAVs, and next-generation technologies, are showcased across the flying and static displays, marking the largest in the event's history.
