A top Iranian general has declared that the nation's maritime borders are secure, emphasizing that adversaries "do not dare to look at Islamic Iran."
During an inspection visit to the second naval district of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy in Bandar Abbas, Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, highlighted the robust security along the country's water borders.
"If security has now been established in the country's water borders, it is due to your sacrifices and day-to-day efforts in the IRGC Navy," he told the naval forces.
Vahidi added that the enemies "upon seeing you on the water borders, do not even dare to look at these waters and lands."
Addressing the sailors, he emphasized that their "power of faith and courage," a quality learned from naval martyrs, enables them to "stand like a mountain in front of the enemies who covet these waters and lands, and the enemy is also afraid of this divine power."
In recent years, Iran's Navy has achieved self-sufficiency in the manufacture of surface and sub-surface vessels. It has also increased its presence in international waters to protect naval routes and provide security for merchant vessels and tankers.
The Iranian naval forces have also staged military drills with different countries to promote their combat readiness.
They have also been involved in joint efforts aimed at countering piracy and maritime terrorism, exchanging information in naval rescue and relief operations, as well as sharing operational and tactical experience to enhance the security and stability of international maritime trade.
'More decisive response'
Deputy Commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Force Brigadier General Nozar Nemati, also in a meeting with a group of judges of the Armed Forces Judicial Organization on Sunday, addressed the nation's military readiness.
"If the enemies repeat their strategic mistake against the great nation of Iran again, they will face a more decisive response and pay a heavier price," he said, referring to a US-Israeli aggression in June that martyred many high-ranking military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians.
He underscored that the enemies of Iran "have come to believe that the military option can in no way intimidate the great nation of Iran."
Referring to the latest status of defense and drone units, Brigadier General Nemati also emphasized that in the 12-day imposed war, defense units with Majid systems and various cannons, as well as the drone unit with Arash destructive drones, played a role alongside other armed forces.
He also touched upon the progress in military self-sufficiency, stating that through cooperation with the country's defense industry, all required equipment, weapons, and parts are being designed and produced for the Army Ground Forces' defense and combat cycle.
