Iran urges E3, UNSC to 'give diplomacy time and space'

Tehran, IRNA -- Deputy Foreign Minister of Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi says Iran calls on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and Britain, France, and Germany, also known as the E3, to give diplomacy time and space.
"Mr. @TakhtRavanchi and I held another meeting with the political directors of the three European countries and EU in Geneva. Both sides outlined their respective views on resolution 2231," wrote Gharibabadi on his X account on Tuesday.
Iran remains committed to diplomacy and a mutually beneficial diplomatic solution, he said.
"High time for the E3 and UNSC to make the right choice, and give diplomacy time and space," he added.
Gharibabadi's remarks come just hours after Iranian and Iranian and European diplomats held talks since Israel struck Iran in a 12-day war of aggression in mid-June.
