
Iran and Russia discuss security issues in South Caucasus

Moscow, IRNA -- Iran's ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, and Russian Deputy Defense Minister Colonel General Alexander Fomin have discussed regional and international security issues, including the situation in the South Caucasus, Russia's Defense Ministry said, as reported by the TASS state news agency.
During their meeting in Moscow on Tuesday, the two officials reviewed a range of current topics related to bilateral military cooperation and explored prospects for future collaboration.
Fomin expressed appreciation for Jalali's efforts to strengthen Iran-Russia relations. Jalali, in turn, emphasized the dynamic and adaptable nature of military cooperation between the two allies.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening strategic cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.
