Tehran, IRNA -- The Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Mohammad Eslami, says that the enemy's goal is to hinder the growth and progress of Iran.
During a ceremony commemorating "Doctor's Day" in Tehran on Tuesday, Eslami expressed pride in the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran for its ability to utilize its technologies for the benefit of society. He emphasized the importance of taking action more quickly and decisively.
He added, "The enemy's goal is to hinder our country's growth and progress. Therefore, we must move more resolutely and strongly, and we must be able to progress powerfully."
Eslami highlighted that one of the fundamental pillars of the AEOI's activities is the health sector, which provides various technologies to enhance healthcare and benefit the population.
The AEOI chief also added that currently, more than 70 types of radiopharmaceuticals are supplied to the country's nuclear medicine centers, which number over 220. He noted that these radiopharmaceuticals have been developed for three primary applications: diagnostic, palliative, and therapeutic.
