Iran, Belarus ink 12 agreements during Pezeshkian's Minsk visit

Tehran, IRNA -- The Islamic Republic of Iran and Belarus have signed 12 cooperation agreements and a joint statement as President Masoud Pezeshkian is on an official visit to Minsk.
The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday with both nations' presidents and senior officials in attendance.
The agreements, signed in Minsk, span a wide range of sectors, including political and international law, tourism and cultural exchange, as well as arts and media collaboration.
Health and pharmaceuticals, industrial development, environmental protection as well as investment and special economic zones are other areas of cooperation as mentioned in the agreements.
Pezeshkian arrived in Minsk late on Tuesday on the second leg of a trip that earlier took him to Armenia.
