
One foreign element arrested in northwest Iran

Ardabil, IRNA -- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has said that its forces arrested a foreign element, involved in intelligence activities, in the northwestern country.
The IRGC unit in Ardabil province in the northwest of the country said in an announcement on Thursday that it arrested a foreign individual.
The person was engaged in providing a neigboring country with the intelligence, added the IRGC.
The element has been handed over to the judicial officials for further investigation into the case, added the source.
