Tehran, IRNA -- The director of dispatching of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Saeid Aqli, has announced that the natural gas transmission pipelines that were damaged in sabotage acts have been repaired.
Speaking in a TV program on Friday, Aghli said that the gas pipelines will operate at maximum capacity soon.
At around 1 a.m. local time (21:30 GMT) on Wednesday (Feb 14, 2024), two "acts of sabotage" hit the natural gas pipeline in Boroujen city, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, and Safashahr in Fars province.
Iran's gas transmission network is now stable, said Aqli. "Fortunately, no one was injured in the explosions."
