Damavand-2 destroyer equipped with most up-to-date defense equipment

Tehran (ISNA) - Iranian Army's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani emphasized that all the defense equipment installed in the Damavand 2 destroyer is the most up-to-date equipment in the fields of discovery, reconnaissance and combat.
Announcing that Damavand 2 destroyer will join the Navy's northern fleet in the Caspian Sea in the coming days, Admiral Shahram Irani said, "The most up-to-date equipment will be installed in all destroyers. Damavand 2 destroyer is equipped with new radar and missile systems, as well as propulsion and weaponry systems".
