Oil output at NISOC subsidiary at 0.561 mln bpd: Official

Gachsaran, IRNA -- Gachsaran Oil and Gas company, a subsidiary of the National Iranian South Oil Company, is producing 0.561 million barrels per day (bpd) of oil, according to the company's CEO.

Gachsaran Oil and Gas company is capable of producing 0.652 million bpd of oil but is not operating at full capacity, Gholamreza Kamali told IRNA on Sunday.

He also said that the company is responsible for producing some 950 million cubic feet (nearly 27 million cubic meters) of natural gas per day of which some 800 million cubic feet is supplied to Bidboland Refinery and the rest in injected to Iran's nationwide gas pipeline grid.

The area controlled by Gachsaran Oil and Gas company straddled four Iranian provinces of Kohkilouyeh-boyerahmad, Khouzestan, Bushehr and Fars, said Kamali.
