
Iran successfully tests indigenous aircraft engine

Tehran, IRNA -- Iran's MAPNA Group has successfully tested a home-grown airplane engine.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi attended the ceremony in Karaj, in northern Alborz province, which marked the International Workers' Day on Monday.
After President Raisi's speech at the ceremony, the native aircraft engine and its control system, which have been manufactured by MAPNA's experts through a reverse engineering process, were successfully tested.
During the ceremony, President Raisi was also briefed about latest technological achievements by MAPNA which is Iran's largest energy construction and engineering company.
