Iranian President officially welcomes Belarusian counterpart

Tehran (ISNA) - Iran's President, Ebrahim Raisi officially welcomed the President of Belarus at Sa'dabad Historical-Cultural Complex on Monday.

Ayatollah Ebrahim Raisi officially welcomed Alexander Lukashenko, the President of Belarus, at Sa'dabad Historical-Cultural Complex on Monday.

In this ceremony, after the national anthems of the two countries were played, Raisi and Lukashenko reviewed the honour guards and then introduced the accompanying high-ranking delegations to each other.

The President of Iran and the President of Belarus started their private talks after the official welcome ceremony.

Promotion of bilateral cooperation in various fields of industry, agriculture and transportation and examination of regional and global issues have been mentioned among the axes of talks between Ayatollah Raisi and the President of Belarus.

Also, after the negotiations of the high-level delegations of the two countries, 8 bilateral cooperation documents are set to be signed by the officials of the two countries in the presence of the Presidents.
