Tehran (ISNA) - Emphasizing that the US actions do not match its words, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said, the Americans sent a message to Iran three days ago regarding the nuclear deal.
Answering a question that the Americans say that reaching an agreement and reviving the JCPOA is not on the agenda of the United States, Amir-Abdollahian told reporters, "Americans' words are inconsistent with their behavior. A message was conveyed between the American side and us three days ago, and we received a message from the American side. In their exchange of messages, the Americans hasted to reach an agreement as soon as possible".
"We clearly stated that the accusations made by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) against Iran in the nuclear field should be settled," he added.
"On one hand, Americans will continue to exchange their messages with Iran and on the other hand, they are trying to incite recent unrest in Iran and put psychological and political pressures on Tehran to gain privilege and turn the talks in their favor," the Iranian senior diplomat stated.
"But we will not offer any concessions in the talks to the American side. We move forward within a reasonable framework to reach an agreement that respects Iran's red lines," he stressed.
Reiterating that Iran will never leave negotiating table, Amir-Abdollahian stated, "The Iranian side's assessment of the messages from the American side even in recent days is that not only do they seek an agreement with Iran as a priority, but also want it hastily".
