Tehran, IRNA -- Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Qasem Rezaei said protests are people's rights, describing riots as police's red-line.
Addressing a meeting with foreign military advisors residing in Iran, Rezaei said that some countries are affected by the US and the usurping Zionism and say that human rights are not respected in Iran, but foreign media show the facts upside down.
If the Iranian police wanted to act militarily, it would have behaved differently, he said adding that there is freedom of speech for protests in Iran.
Some people abuse these protests and disrupt the norms of society, he noted.
Iran has no limit for interacting with other countries, although it has nothing to do with some arrogant countries or the Zionist regime, he stated.
As the police, we are ready to share our experiences, Rezaei stressed.
