Tehran (ISNA) - The spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi emphasized, "Iranian Head of Atomic Energy Organization's remarks on Iran's capability to get access to nuclear bomb have been misinterpreted, and Iran is not moving towards building a nuclear bomb".

He noted, "We will continue enriching uranium to overcome the needs of the country. We have already announced our plans to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and other sides also know that we have our own rules in the light of this issue".

Regarding Iranian Head of Atomic Energy Organization Mohammad Eslami's recent remarks, Kamalvandi in an interview with Al Mayadeen said, "Eslami's remarks on Iran's capability to get access to nuclear bomb have been misinterpreted. Due to Iran's strategic capabilities, it does not need nuclear bomb and it will not move towards building a nuclear bomb".

"If other sides get back to their commitments, we will also return to our commitments in the framework of the nuclear deal," he reiterated.
