Tehran (ISNA) - Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani declared that there would be important trips from the leaders of neighboring countries to Tehran in the upcoming days, while adding that the place and time of future negotiations over the reviving the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) would be determined soon.

Speaking at his first weekly press conference in the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, Kanaani stated, "Nuclear operations of the Zionist Regime is a great danger to the international peace and security, and this is the responsibility of international organizations, including the UN and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to consider the nuclear status of the regime. Moreover, the impunity of this regime is rooted in the unconditioned US supports".

"Iran will firmly respond to the Zionist Regime's unwise actions, and Iran's response will be regrettable and decisive for this regime," he added.

Regarding some points raised in a recent article by the US President Joe Biden in the Washington Post, published on the eve of his visit to the region, the spokesman noted, "I feel sorry if the White House officials assume that they can justify their own destructive operations in the region by writing and publishing such articles".

Kanaani stressed that resorting to the failed policy against the Islamic Republic of Iran as the most constructive contributor to the region, was in conflict with Mr. Biden's claims in the article about trying to create a stable and secure Middle East.

He emphasized, "A safer and more stable Middle East can only be achieved if the US ends its divisive policy among the regional countries and respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries".

With regard to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recept Tayyip Erdogan's official trip to Tehran, Nasser Kanaani said, "Iran has very good ties with Turkey and Russia and there is a positive determination among these three countries to enhance cooperation within the bilateral and trilateral framework. As the trip is being planned, the government and its spokesman will inform you of its details".

In the light of Iran - Egypt relations, Kanaani said, "As you know a direct communication between Iran and the Arab Republic of Egypt is underway through the Office for the Protection of the Interests of both countries and other diplomatic levels in the various frameworks as well".

"In this framework, I believe that official and diplomatic talks between Tehran and Cairo help both countries convey their own views, so no intermediator is needed," he added.

Kanaani with referring to the good relations between Iran - Egypt stated, "Fortunately, good rounds of talks have been held between Tehran and Riyadh by excellent diplomatic efforts and Iraq's good gesture. This is our conclusion that the outcomes of the talks have been hoping and encouraging, and both sides are looking forward to holding the new round of talks".

According to some leaders, Presidents and Foreign Ministers' recent trips to Tehran, the Iranian spokesman declared, "These comings and goings of some officials have literally made Tehran an active diplomatic capital. We have also witnessed several visits paid by Iran's President, Foreign Minister and other officials to different regions particularly the neighboring countries. Therefore, such a thing can be the manifestation of strong Iran used active and balanced diplomacy".
