Iran's President stresses reducing tensions in world

Tehran (ISNA) - Referring to the importance of reducing tensions in the world, Iran's President called for a concerted effort to create economic interaction in order to safeguard the interests of nations.
A report on the market situation and prices of goods and food was presented at Sunday night meeting of the Cabinet's Economic Coordination Board, chaired by President Ebrahim Raisi.
In this report, the relative stability of food prices in recent weeks, the need for continued efforts and coherent and systematic cooperation of all responsible agencies to be more stable and prevent price increases were emphasized by members.
In this report, the conditions resulting from recent developments and its impact on the prices of goods and food in global markets were discussed and its dimensions were examined.
The President instructed the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad to cooperate with other relevant agencies, to pursue the issue of providing food items and basic goods and allocating the necessary foreign currency for these sectors.
At this meeting, it was decided that the Cabinet's Economic Coordination Board review the capacities and opportunities for regional and international trade and economic interaction, and follow up and implement the agreements signed with the authorities of other countries.
