Tehran, IRNA -- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh on Sunday urged the need for closing a file against Iran about an alleged possible military dimensions (PMD) of Iran's nuclear program.
Khatibzadeh, who was speaking on the talks underway in Vienna between Iran and the five world powers, said that Iran would not accept any deadline by the other parties to the negotiations.
He said that instead of expressing optimism or pessimism, Iran usually speaks of realism.
The talks in Vienna have now reached a point which requires taking serious political decisions by the US and the Western parties, the foreign ministry spokesman said.
He said that the lifting of sanctions and taking guarantees in different areas needs political decisions in some European capitals and Washington more than it needs further talks between the negotiating parties.
If the other party respects the redlines of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it will be possible for Iran to conclude the talks in the shortest time, Khatibzadeh said.
