Tehran (ISNA) - Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stressed that although the Vienna talks on lifting sanctions will be resumed soon, parts of Iran's demands in the field of lifting sanctions have not been met yet.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto on Monday, Amir-Abdollahian said, "Vienna talks will be resumed soon. We focused on the latest documents which were reached after Iran's negotiations with the P4+1. In reviewing these texts of the Vienna talks, parts of our demands in the field of lifting sanctions have not yet been met".

"We hope to reach a final agreement in this stage," he added, stating that reaching a good agreement in these negotiations depends on the intentions, reliance, and behavior of involved countries and this is what should be assessed in these countries' practice.

Reminding previous meeting with his Finnish counterpart in New York, he also described Iran-Finland relations, stable which is on the right track, adding, "This trip is the continuation of that consultations and efforts of the two countries to expand relations".

The Iranian official also informed that the Finnish Foreign Minister has met with the President's Special Representative for Afghanistan, saying that there will be about 11 documents including one on avoiding double taxation will be signed between the two countries.

Ami-Abdollahian also noted that the volume of trade exchanges between Iran and Finland is not commensurate with the existed capacities, so the matter has been discussed in this meeting, saying, "We are trying to improve the relation, expand it to various areas of science, technology, production of fresh water through solar energy, pharmaceutical cooperation, etc. more than before".

Emphasizing the return of peace in the region, the Iranian official referred to the developments in Yemen, saying, "We accent the issue of lifting the humanitarian siege of this country, establishing a ceasefire, and conducting Yemeni-Yemeni talks".
