Tehran (ISNA) - The Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami stressed that Tehran does not intend to exceed 60 percent uranium enrichment.
In an interview with Russian news outlet Sputnik, Eslami stressed that Iran is not going to exceed 60 percent uranium enrichment, even if the negotiators in Vienna do not come to an agreement and Washington does not return to the JCPOA and lift sanctions on Tehran.
"All our goals in terms of uranium enrichment are to meet our industrial, production needs, as well as the needs of our consumers for those goods that our country and our population need today. All our atomic activities are carried out within the framework of agreements, charters and resolutions of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)," he stated.
