Combat, suicide drones new part of IRGC power

Tehran, IRNA -- Commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Hossein Salami has said that combat drones and suicide drones are the new elements of power of the IRGC Ground Force.

IRGC Ground Force safeguards national security, independence and territorial integrity of the country, General Salami said on the sidelines of the Great Prophet 17 drills in southern Iran, according to sepahnews on Thursday.

Today, the Ground Force has capability of using all systems against enemies.

The Great Prophet 17 drills kicked off on Monday (December 20) in the southern Iranian coastlines in Khuzestan, Bushehr and Hormuzgan provinces.

In a related development, Commander of the IRGC Ground Force Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour said on the sidelines of the third day of the military drills that Islamic Republic has achieved technology of producing drone and made this technology as indigenous.
