Alvand destroyer, 4 submarines join Iran Army Navy

Bandar Abbas, IRNA -- Alvand Destroyer and four submarines joined the Iranian Army Navy at a ceremony in southern Iran on Sunday.

Iran's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani and Deputy Commander of Army for Coordination Affairs Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari were present in the ceremony.

Head of factories affiliated to Army, Captain Siamak Pourgazazi, said at the ceremony that Alvand Destroyer has been overhauled by indigenous experts.

Also, four submarines joined the Navy after renovated, Captain Pourgazazi added.
