Amirabdollahian: Defensive diplomacy, inseparable part of Iran's foreign policy

Tehran, IRNA -- Iran's Foreign Minister said here on Tuesday that defensive diplomacy is an inseparable part of the Islamic Republic of Iran's foreign policy.

Hossein Amirabdollahian made the comment in a meeting with a number of the country's high brass military commanders when he reiterated that the mighty presence of country's armed forces at various scenes in addition to ensuring security, has the message of peace and friendship for the regional countries.

The Army Commander Major General Abdol-Rahim Musavi in the meeting congratulated Amirabdollahian for his being appointed at his new position and wished him success in this responsibility, announcing the Islamic Republic of Iran Army's readiness for close cooperation with the country's foreign policy apparatus aimed at facilitating its smooth performance.

Major General Abdol-Rahim Musavi said the army's broad activities at vast-scale regional and international scenes, air defense, and close cooperation with the selfless activists at the health and medical scene in campaign against the Corona pandemic are all at the service of the Iranian nation.

Amirabdollahian in the meeting with the high brass military commanders appreciated the outstanding services offered by the country's armed forces in ensuring the country's security and safeguarding the Islamic Republic of Iran's territorial integrity, announcing the Foreign Ministry's readiness for fortifying the country's defensive policy.
