Iran reaffirming its strong commitment to regional stability, maritime security

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh stressed that Iran is reaffirming its strong commitment to regional stability and maritime security.
Reacting to the recent security incidents involving vessels in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, Khatibzadeh wrote on his official Twitter account, "Reported "incidents" in the Persian Gulf and broader region appear utterly suspicious".
"Reaffirming our strong commitment to regional stability and maritime security, Iran stands ready to offer assistance in case of any maritime accidents," he added.
