Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that the meeting of Joint Commission to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will take place in Vienna on Tuesday, stressing once again that there will be no direct or indirect talks between Iran and the US in Vienna.

Speaking at a weekly press conference on Monday, Khatibzadeh said, "The meeting of Joint Commission to the JCPOA will be held tomorrow".

"What will happen tomorrow in Vienna is no different from the previous periodic meetings, and the continuation of the meeting will take place on Friday in person," he added.

"Negotiations in Vienna will cover the complete removal of US unjust and illegal sanctions against Iran and how the other signatories of the JCPOA to fulfill their commitments," Khatibzadeh reminded.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Khatibzadeh pointed out that Iran-China strategic deal does not contain any contract, number or figure, granting exclusive rights and obligations to both parties.

"There were some concerns and rumors that some foreign troops would be stationed in Iran, which was completely rejected," he added.

Confirming that South Korean Prime Minister Chung Sye-Kyun will visit to Tehran soon, the spokesman noted, "We expect that the South Korean Prime Minister during his visit to Tehran to come up with solutions for releasing Iran's frozen funds in the country".
