Tehran (ISNA) - Iranian deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Seyyed Abbas Araghchi ahead of his visit to Vienna stressed that there will be no direct or indirect talks with the US.
"What we are pursuing in Vienna at the Joint Commission to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is based on the decisive stances of our state which have been repeatedly indicated by the Supreme Leader and the country's officials," he said.
""We will not have any talks with the Americans in Vienna, either directly or indirectly. We will negotiate with the Joint Commission and the P4+1 countries, and we will announce our demands and condition to return to the JCPOA," Araghchi once again stressed.
"Our condition is that the United States first fulfill all its JCPOA obligations and lift all sanctions, and then we will return after verify the US moves," he added.
"Negotiations in Vienna are totally technical and will cover the sanctions that need to be lifted and what needs to be done by the Americans in this regard," the diplomat went on to say.
"We do not accept any step-by-step plans and proposals for the JCPOA return. In our opinion, there is no more step and that step is the US lifts all the cruel sanctions imposed by former President Donald Trump," Araghchi emphasized.
