Iran's Health Min urges collective measures in region to combat COVID-19

Tehran, Aug 11, IRNA -- Iran's Minister of Health and Medical Education Saeed Namaki called on the regional countries to further cooperate in the fight against Coronavirus.

The health program of the states in the Mediterranean region during which Iran, Iraq, Pakistan as well as Afghanistan cooperate under the supervision of World Health Organization (WHO) should be expanded in various countries in the region, he further noted.

He expressed the hope that the countries would deal with the pandemic in upcoming autumn and winter appropriately.
