First vice-president: US' anti-Iran sanctions doomed to failure

Tehran, July 7, IRNA -- Iranian First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Monday that the US has failed to bring Iran's economy to its knees through imposing unilateral sanctions.

"Iran's economy is growing positively in the non-oil sector, inflation will decrease soon and it is a good opportunity for us to support and defend Iran's success," Jahangiri said .

He underlined that the US' plots to destroy Iran's economy will surely fail and Iran will continue in the path of success.
