Tehran (ISNA) - Iran's government announced the fifth and final step of reducing its commitments within the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

According to the measure, Iran no longer faces any limitation in enrichment capacity, enrichment percentage, the amount of enrichment materials, research and development.

Here is the full text of Iranian government statement:

Iran in its 5th step of reducing nuclear commitments leaves the last main operational limitation in JCPOA which is "the number of centrifuges". Thus, Iran's nuclear program no longer faces any operational limitation, including enrichment capacity, enrichment percentage, amount of enrichment materials, research & development. From now on, Iran's nuclear program is being pursued based on its technical needs. Iran's cooperation with IAEA will continue as before. Iran is ready to return to JCPOA commitments if sanctions are lifted and Iran benefits from JCPOA. Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) should take necessary measures in coordination with the President.
