China President urges effective implementation of JCPOA

Beijing, June 5, IRNA -- Chinese President Xi Jinping underlined the fact that Iran deal is the result of multilateralism and urged effective implementation of it.
Speaking to reporters, Xi Jinping expressed over the recent tensions which have been created due to US unilateral sanctions and putting maximum pressure on Iran.
Referring to the similar position taken by Chin and Russia as regard Iran and the nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), he extended hope for all sides to reduce tensions by logical reaction, self-restraint and reinforcing consultations.
He added that china and Russia will maintain close cooperation for preserving the UN credibility, international; peace and stability and the international community's common interests.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Chinese president expressed readiness for participating reconstruction of Syria saying Syria is a civilized country and enjoys penetration in the Middle East.
He alsosaid the deal is important for preserving non-proliferation regime, peace and stability in the region.
The Chinese President further regretted over recent unrests in Syria which resulted in destroying its infrastructures and also suffering for Syrian people.
Xi Jinping made the remarks prior leaving his country for Russia where he is to attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) upon the official invitation of the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
