Tehran (ISNA) - Spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi announced that the country has quadrupled its production of enriched uranium in Natanz atomic facility.
Kamalvandi clarified that Iran would not increase its number of centrifuges, and that the uranium would for now remain at its current level of enrichment, at just over 3.5 percent.
He said that if outstanding issues weren't resolved within 60 days, Iran would begin refining uranium to higher levels of enrichment in addition to the stepped-up rate of production.
Kamalvandi stressed that Iran could achieve 20 percent enrichment "within four days."
