Iran Guards commander reacts to US' plan to brand IRGC as terror group

Tehran (ISNA) - The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps' chief commander reacted to the news that the U.S. is set to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization, stressing that in case the U.S. takes such a step, its forces in western Asia "will lose peace and quiet".
The IRGC's chief commander, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said, "If Americans make the mistake, and endangers our national security we will take reciprocal measures, based on the policies of the Islamic Republic".
"In case the U.S. takes such a step, its forces in western Asia will lose peace and quiet," he insisted.
