Tehran (ISNA) – Today, Atomic Energy Organization of Iran is a hundred percent self-sufficient in designing and development of centrifuges and it can fulfill the demands of its customers, AEOI's special assistant, Ali-Asqar Zarean said.

The special assistant of AEIO head announced that it will unveil 114 accomplishments during the new Iranian fiscal year (started March 21, 2019).

Mentioning that localization in different areas is of AEIO's priorities, he insisted, "All the accomplishments due to be unveiled are made by Iranian materials and knowledge. Meanwhile, some of our achievements are unique worldwide or we are the second or third state in developing them. We are also able to design and produce small reactors and present related services abroad".

Regarding the development of Oxygen-18, Zarean said, "We can produce 100kg of Oxygen-18 per year, while our domestic need is 2kg and it's a good area for export".

"In producing nuclear medicine, we prioritize the standardization. Currently, in addition to supplying domestic needs, we also export the medicines to other countries, such as European ones".
