Tehran (ISNA) – Chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iranian Parliament announced that a double-urgency bill has been prepared to put US' military on the terror blacklist alongside ISIS.
In an interview with ISNA, Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh said, "As Washington is trying to designate the Islamic Revolution Guards as a terrorist organization, we have prepared a double-urgency bill to name US military a terror organization alongside ISIS".
Mentioning that three main fractions of Iran's parliament support the bill, Falahatpisheh added, "However we believe that we shouldn't play in US' ground of extremism, the fact is that we have to follow the principles of retaliation and fighting against terrorism".
Stressing that IRGC has had a prominent role in fighting against terrorism, the Iranian lawmaker said, "With putting IRGC in terror blacklist, US has actually served terrorists. The double-urgency bill is prepared and as soon as US puts IRGC on its blacklist, we will put the tit for tat measure on the agenda and approve the double-urgency bill".
