Tehran (ISNA) – The fresh round of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) joint commission meeting will be held in Vienna on Wednesday.

Co-chaired by Iranian deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Abbas Araqchi and European External Action Service Helga Schmid, the JCPOA joint commission meeting will be held in Vienna, Austria on Wednesday, with deputy foreign ministers of Germany, UK, France, Russia, and China in attendance.

In this regard, Iranian and other countries' delegations have started bilateral and multilateral expert meetings from Monday, discussing ways to deal with the negative effects of the US withdrawal from the agreement and re-imposition of sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

The workgroup to implement lifting sanctions is scheduled to get underway in Vienna on Tuesday morning.

Araqchi will arrive in Vienna on Tuesday and hold separate bilateral meetings with his counterparts including Helga Schmid today.

The Wednesday session will be focused on ways to get around US unilateral sanctions against Iran, as well as solutions to implement remaining parties' commitments.
