Iran's new cyber achievements unveiled

Tehran, Dec 22, IRNA -- New achievements in electronic, telecommunications and cyber-defense of Iran's Defense Ministry were unveiled at the presence of the Defense Minister at the Company of Electronic Industries.
Speaking at the ceremony to unveil the advanced digital communication products line and the base software, Brigadier General Amir Hatami commended the experts and scientists of Iran's electronics industry, the achievements of electronic and telecommunications as a clear example of the resistance economy and the nature of the indigenous defense.
'Today, we are proud of the achievements of advanced communication and electronic industries of Iran which has a special status at the regional level and by acquiring these new technologies, we will be able to have a multilayer secure communications network between land, air and sea units,' he added.
General Hatami further said these new telecommunications and cyber capabilities will outperform our armed forces in the face of the enemy's electronic warfare, and will have the potential to have a profound impact on the balance of possible conflict in the battlefield.
The Iranian Defense Minister said with using these electronic, telecommunication and cybernetic systems, timely detection of threats, analysis of enemy operational scenarios, special attention to new threats and appropriate countermeasures were provided.
