Iran's 58th naval fleet docks at Bandar Abbas

Tehran (ISNA) – Iran's 58th naval fleet, containing Bayandor destroyer and Tonb warship docked at Iranian Navy's first region in the port city of Bandar Abbas on the Persian Gulf after 53 days, traveling 3970 Nautical miles and docking at Salalah port in Oman.
On the sidelines of an event to welcome the fleet, the commander of Moqaddam naval base Rear Admiral, Afshin Tashk said," Iran navy fleets' constant presence is aimed at implementing Iranian Commander-in-Chief's orders, preserving and securing Iran's interests in remote waters, sending message of peace and friendship, intelligent cover and neutralizing Iranophobia projects, as well as, providing security for sailing lines and roads".
"Iran's stability and security in such a chaotic maritime region is owed to naval forces' dedications in Gulf of Aden and remote waters and prosperity in such missions requires patience and dedication of families of the forces," he added.
