Iran navy self-sufficient: Cmdr
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Shahr-e Rey, Nov 27, IRNA -- Iranian Navy is totally self-sufficient in marine defense, surface and sub-surface vessels, said the commander of the Iranian Navy on Tuesday.
'The fact that we are self-sufficient shows that sanctions have had no effects and we have broken them,' Rear-Admiral Hossein Khanzadi said.
Referring to building Jamaran destroyer in 2010, he said that Iran's warship left the coastal waters for international ones.
He added that the Navy doesn't know any limits in making vessels and equipment.
He said that three more destroyers will be added to the Navy before April, 2019.
