Iran's Zarif, EU's Mogherini hold talks in New York

Tehran (ISNA) - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini have discussed issues of mutual interest in a meeting in New York.

During the Monday talks held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, the two sides exchanged views on regional issues including Syria and Yemen.

Zarif and Mogherini also made the final arrangements for the P4+1's Tuesday afternoon meeting.

Mogherini once again highlighted Europe's support for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, saying that the EU is finalisingits operational solutions to meet Iran's demands and will implement them soon.
