Iran, P4+1 meeting indicates US isolation

Tehran, Sept 25, IRNA -- The meeting between Iran and P4+1 which happened before US efforts to use UNSC as a tool, indicated US isolation, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said.
At the end of the meeting, foreign ministers of Iran and P4+1 released a joint statement containing important points, Araqchi wrote in his Instagram page.
In the statement, JCPOA parties underlined full and effective implementation of Iran nuclear deal, saying removing sanctions and meeting Iran's economic interests are regarded as vital part of the deal.
All participants expressed regret over US withdrawal from the JCPOA and underlined their commitments, developing economic relations with Iran, preserving effective financial channels and maintaining oil, gas condensates and petrochemicals exports of Iran, he added.
Thanks to the importance of receiving tangible results, the foreign ministers hailed practical suggestions for preserving and developing payment channels for facilitating payments regarding Iran oil and gas exports and imports, Araqchi said.
They also reiterated their strong determination for supporting more activities for making operational especial mechanism as well as continuation of exchanges with regional and international partners, he added.
The statement has also encouraged other countries to adopt policies and establish similar mechanism in their relations with Iran and called for reinforcing bilateral economic relations with Iran and paving the way for normalizing trade ties with the country.
