Europe to make more efforts for preserving JCPOA: Zarif

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held a meeting with State secretory of Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Annika Söder, discussing the most important bilateral, regional and international issues.
During the meeting, the officials exchanged views on 2015 nuclear deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), threats of American president about the possible withdrawal from the agreement, developments in Yemen and Syrian crisis.
Referring to Iran's stances in regards to US President's positions toward JCPOA as well as regional and international issues, Mr. Zarif said, "Europe should do more to preserve the JCPOA and push US to adhere to its commitments".
The Swedish diplomat, for her part, has stressed on preserving the nuclear agreement.
