Iran Supreme Leader underlines Army power

Tehran, April 22, IRNA -- The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, emphasized the continuation of progress and increasing army power.

Development should continue for Army to be better and more efficient, Ayatollah Khamenei said on Sunday in a meeting with Army Commander and Army Ground Forces commanders.

During the meeting, Supreme Leader appreciated the efficiency of the army veterans and expressed hope for a shining future for the youth.

He also urged the youth to utilize all their initiatives, attempts and human capacities to promote army.
