Foreign warships presence in Persian Gulf creating division

Qeshm, Feb 6, IRNA -- The presence of other countries' warships in Persian Gulf has created division in the region, Iranian Border Guard Commander Brigadier General Qasem Rezaei said.

Rezaei called for rapid withdrawal of the foreign warships from the region.

Their presence in the region is illegitimate and causes insecurity and causes different damages, he said.

He urged International bodies, specially the United Nations to make these countries withdraw from the region.

Iran together with the neighboring countries is not happy with other countries' presence in the Persian Gulf, Rezaei said.

These countries are just after fulfilling their own interests and they do not follow the interests of the regional countries, he noted.

The mentioned states have equipped one the regional countries to wage manslaughter in Yemen, Iranian commander reiterated.
