Iranian navy's Damavand destroyer to be repaired soon

Anzali, Gilan Prov., Jan 28, IRNA -- The Islamic Republic of Iran's Army spokesman Brigadier General Taqikhani said that operations will start soon to repair the navy's Damavand destroyer.
Taqikhani said the destroyer's fuselage has only been damaged and there is no obstacle for renovating it.
He said the frigate had been damaged as it entered Bandar Anzali port in Gilan province and was damaged after being pushed and hit into a breakwater due to unfavorable atmospheric conditions and sea storm.
