Iran moves in Persian Gulf within int'l laws: Military official
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Aug 6, IRNA -- The Islamic Republic vessels' moves in the Persian Gulf are quite professional and within the framework of international laws, says the senior spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Armed Forces.
'Our behavior in the Persian Gulf is completely professional,' said Brigadier General Massoud Jazaeri on Sunday.
'It is obvious that if there is any violation from the vessels regarding the international regulations in the realm of peaceful crossing of the oil tankers and other ships, the Islamic forces of Iran will answer that,' said General Jazayeri who is also Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces.
'What the Americans have claimed is mostly a matter of propaganda which we have denied in the right time,' Jazayeri added, referring to certain baseless reports by anti-Iran media on the so-called provocative moves of Iranian forces in the Persian Gulf.
