US trying to pass the buck of JCPOA violation to Iran: Deputy FM

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Tehran, July 30, IRNA -- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on Saturday that US administration tries to put the nuclear deal aside, but tries to lay the responsibility of the deal's annihilation on Iran.

Speaking in the IRIB 1 interview program View One, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs said the US administration is trying to infuriate Iran or to reduce Iran's benefits from the deal, so that it reacts emotionally or quits the deal.

The Islamic Republic of Iran will stay in the deal as long as its benefits are provided and when its costs surpass it benefits, we won't hesitate a second to leave the deal, but we will be cautious and react wisely not play for Trump's administration and do nothing to reduce the deals benefits, said Araqchi.

Commenting on new US sanctions on Iran, he said according to the deal, the US is committed to stop any Congress sanctions; in our point of view, return of any sanctions is the flagrant violation of the deal.
